LEE COUNTY — Due to COVID-19, Public Act 101-642 has been imple-mented and mandates that Lee County Clerk and Re-corder’s office automatically provide an application for a vote by mail ballot to regis-tered voters that have cast a ballot in any election be-ginning with the November 2018 General Election and forward, or have newly reg-istered or updated their voter registration since the March 17, 2020 General Primary Election.

An application and notice of instruction will be issued to qualified voters be-ginning July 31, 2020. Please allow two weeks to receive your application.
IF YOU WISH TO VOTE BY MAIL, YOU MUST: Submit a completed ap-plication, receive your ballot in the mail, vote your ballot, affix a standard postage stamp to the provided return envelope and submit.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Vote by Mail Applications must be received by Oct. 29, 2020.
Ballots will be issued beginning Sept. 24, 2020.
Voted ballots must be postmarked by Election Day.

IN PERSON VOTING:
For those individuals wishing to cast a ballot in person, your regular polling location will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020 from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Early Voting is also available at the Old Lee County Courthouse, 1st Floor Election Department:
beginning Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, Monday thru Friday, 8:15 a.m.- 4:15 p.m. and
Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, 9 a.m. until noon
All voters are encouraged to vote in the manner best suited to their personal preference. In the interest of public health and safety, please adhere to current suggested and/or mandated social distancing practices.
