Amboy Lions Club Past President Roger Wittenauer received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award Monday night from current President Dave Kemp. Wittenauer was President from 2017 to 2020 and was instrumental in the start of new projects, such as the placement of AEDs in local community centers and churches, and the expansion of existing events and programs. The Lions Club meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 6 p.m. at the Community Center.
