AMBOY — Nicholas Tarr son of Andy and Rachel Tarr was named the “2021 Student of the Year” at Amboy High School. Nicholas will be attending Illinois State University in the fall to pursue a degree in Finance.
The First National Bank in Amboy is the proud sponsor of this $5,000.00 scholarship award. This is the 38th year the Bank has sponsored this scholarship at Amboy High School.
Also recognized were the nine students of the month for the 2020/2021 school year and received a $500.00 award. They were: Nicholas Tarr, Brianna Blaine, Mallory Powers, Ethan Larson, Brooklyn Whelchel, Erin Latta, Madelyn McLaughlin, Gabrielle Jones and Margaret Lowery.
