LEE COUNTY — On Saturday, April 10, at approximately 4:15 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a single vehicle collision on Robbins Road, south of Amboy Road. 

Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies, Amboy Fire/EMS, Sublette Fire/EMS and Advance Ambulance responded to the scene. Four occupants were identified in the collision. The driver, Draven Webb, 19, of Dixon, and Madison Rockwood, 14, of Amboy, were transported to KSB Hospital. Webb was later transferred to OSF St. Anthony in Rockford and is listed in fair condition. Rockwood was transported to Peoria Children's Hospital and is listed in fair condition.

The other two occupants of the vehicle, Caylee Krug, 14, of Dixon, Brecken Kooy, 14, of Dixon, died of their injuries at the scene.  

The cause of the collision is under investigation. 

The Dixon Police Department, Illinois State Police and the Lee County Coroner’s office are assisting Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies in the investigation. 

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office sends its condolences, thoughts and prayers to the families.  The State’s Attorneys Office of Victim Services is also assisting with the families who lost their loved ones in this tragic incident.
