AMBOY — Marvin Earl “Hub” Hubbell is celebrating his 90thbirthday.
An open house with light refreshments will be held in his honor from 3-5 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Oregon VFW. Omission of gifts is requested.
Also, the VFW will serve a dinner buffet for a nominal fee from 4-7 p.m., and Lyle Grobe and The Rhythm Ramblers Sweetheart Dance will be performing as evening entertainment.
Hub’s actual birthday is on Feb. 17.
