At the Amboy Lions Club’s annual Christmas dinner Barb Harrison was presented with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award by Amboy Lions Club President Roger Wittenauer. This is the highest award that can be given to a Lion, or non Lion member, in recognition of years of service to their community and volunteerism. The Amboy Lions chose Barb because of her support of the club as well as many other organizations and causes in Amboy.  She is the first, and only, non Amboy Lion Club member to receive this honor.
