LEE COUNTY — The General Election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3. In this election, voters will decided the next President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives and Senators in Congress, Judges and local officials. Also on the ballot is the constitutional amendment for imposing higher income tax rates on higher income tax levels.
Due to press time, the edition of the Amboy News on Nov. 4th will not have results of the Nov. 3rd election. Those election results will appear on our website at www.AmboyNews.com and in the Nov. 11th edition of the paper.
Unofficial results in Lee County will be available at www.leecountyil.com.
In Amboy, voting will be conducted at the Amboy Community Building, 280 W. Wasson Road, for precincts Amboy 1, Amboy 2, Amboy 3 and Lee Center.
In Sublette, the Ellice Dinges Center will be the voting location for Sublette and May precincts.
The Lee County Clerk will be open for in person early voting from 8:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. - noon on Saturday, Oct. 31. The votes cast during the early voting will not be counted until Election Day.
