A crowd of more than 600 came to the Loveland Community Center in Dixon on Saturday to partake of the Farmer's Share Breakfast. Lee County Farm Bureau members and volunteers, Mike Meusel (left), Aaron Wolf and Adam Henkel work preparing pancakes for the Farmer’s Share Breakfast. The approximate portion going to farmers for a breakfast including pancakes, sausage, orange, milk or coffee would be 50 cents. "We also use the breakfast to open doors of conversation to the public about food prices or agriculture in general," said Danelle Burrs, Lee County Farm Bureau Manager. (Photo by Mary Mays)
