Residents have been seeing construction on the corner building on the northside of Main Street and IL Route 52 and may have been wondering what is going on. Amboy Food and Liquor has purchased the building and will be expanding their store. On the side facing Route 52 will be a wall of windows looking into the store. With the additional square footage, the store will be able to expand their produce department, meat department, as well as new seasonal items, toys for children, back to school products, dollar items, and containers to name a few.
