Amboy Depot Days Car Show Committee Treasurer Jim Phelps, left, presents a check for $3,500 to Jason Ramos, captain in the Amboy Fire Department. About $2,500 of the amount will go to help fund Community Appreciation Kids Event. Approximately 500 kids attended the free event in 2017. The remaining $1,000 will go toward food baskets at Christmas. The Amboy Depot Days Car Show Committee will be donating about $66,000 to local organizations this year.
