AMBOY — Roy and Sue (Wolf) Welch, of Amboy, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 27, 2019.
Roy and Sue were married Dec. 27, 1969, in the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mendota.
The couple owns Welch Grain Bins Sales and Service and has farmed in Lee and Bureau Counties for the last 50 years.
They have four children: Eric Welch, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Adam Welch, of Amboy, Luke (Janette) Welch, of Sublette, and Chris (Rachel) Untz, of Franklin Grove; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
An open house is being held in their honor from 2 – 5 p.m., on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, at Walton Tap. All family and friends are invited to celebrate with cake and festivities. A family dinner will follow.
