AMBOY — This year’s Veterans Day program will be held at on a different day, and at a different location.
Amboy American Legion Veterans Day program will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 7, at Veterans Park, in Amboy. In case of inclement weather, the rain date is at 2 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 8.
The public is welcomed to attend the program, but is asked to exercise social distancing and follow the current health guidelines.
The program schedule includes welcome remarks, flag retirement ceremony, Veterans recognition, and a rifle salute followed by TAPS.
The Veterans Day program was previously head in the Amboy High School gym on Veterans Day, with the students in the school district attending, and participating in the program.
