AMBOY – The Amboy High School 2021 Homecoming Parade kicked off at 2:15 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17. The route taken was new this year. The parade cut the trip down Appleton since the junior high is now located with the high school. The AHS Marching Bank led the parade. The AHS court was joined by the LaMoille High School court, Grand Marshals Sheila Hicks and Mike McCracken, Class of 1941 graduate Charles Kuebel and all the fall sports teams and class floats. The Clippers won their game over Biggsville/West Central that evening 60-14.
The 2021 AHS Homecoming King is Haden McCoy and the Queen is Lauren Althaus. Freshman Attendants: Natalie Pratt and Quinn Leffelman; Sophomore Attendants: Maeve Larson and Brennan Blaine; Junior Attendants: Courtney Ortgiesen and Kelton Schwamberger.
