Fall Fest, Fun for all
The 4-H Federation is hosting Winter Fest at the Lee County 4-H Fairgrounds, 1196 Franklin Road, Amboy on Saturday, Oct. 30, 3 - 5 p.m. Admission is free, however there is a suggested donation of canned food or socks to be donated to local food pantries. There will be free hot dogs and popcorn available. Carnival type games, crafts, and other activities are being planned. Come and get out of the house for some fun. Event is opened to the public. The event will be held outside if weather allows.Masking is required indoors or when social distancing is not possible. Follow our Facebook event for updates. www.fb.com/4hleecounty

Taste of 4-H Cooking Club to start in Amboy
Get a Taste of 4-H in our Cooking Special Interest Club. Join Lee County 4-H for a Youth Cooking Club for all youth ages eight to 14. The club will train kids in basic kitchen skills and how to prepare delicious easy recipes for breakfast, lunch, or snacks. The class will take place on Wednesdays, Nov. 3 – Dec. 15, from 5-6:30 p.m.. There will be no class the week of Thanksgiving. Youth will learn kitchen skills at the Lee County Extension office in Amboy. Cost is a $10 supply fee plus the $20 4-H membership fee if not already a 4-H member.
Participants are required to wear a mask during the sessions. Register your youth online by Oct. 27 at go.illinois.edu/LeeTasteof4H
