National Honor Society-3 years: Currently I am the Secretary,Spanish Honor Society- 3 years. Currently I am the Vice President, Band-4 years, Basketball- 4 years: Varsity co-captain, Student Council- 3 years, Volleyball-3 years,Cheerleading-1 year: Varsity co-captain, Dance Team-1 year, Leos Club- 1 year
Awards and Honors: All-Conference Academic Team: I was named to the Northwest Upstate Illini All-Conference Academic Team for the 2016- 2017 season.
Gold Member Award: I received an award in the Student Council for having over 200 points.
Best of the Day: I received a best of the day award for a flute ensemble I participated in during my freshman year at Solo and Ensemble Contest.
Instrumentalist Magazine First Chair Award: I was first chair in the Amboy High School Band in the 2016-2017 school year.
All-Conference Honors Band Team: I was named to the Northwest Upstate Illini All-Conference Honors Band for the 2016- 2017 and 2017-2018 school year.
Selection for the YLS with Congressman Adam Kinzinger: I was chosen to go to the Youth Leadership Summit with Congressman Adam Kinzinger in October 2017.
President’s List: I was named to the Fall Semester President’s List at Sauk Valley Community College for having a 4.0 gpa in all of my classes.
Best Memories of AHS: “A lot of my best high school memories come from playing on the basketball team. Everything from practices with my teammates, to team bonding, to making a half court shot and being a part of a Regional Championship team as a sophomore, basketball has created a lot of memorable times throughout high school.”
Future Plans: “In the fall I will be attending Loyola University in Chicago as an accounting major, but my ultimate goal is to eventually become a business lawyer.”
