Thake featured in AASA series on successful models of personalized learning environments

AMBOY – The creation of successful personalized learning environments by school system leaders across the country are profiled in a new series of case studies created by AASA, The School Superintendents Association. The case studies, showcased by members of the AASA Superintendent Personalized Learning Cohort, were created to serve as resources for superintendents from coast to coast who wish to grow the personalized learning movement in their respective communities.

“We applaud the visionary leaders who participated in our latest series of case studies,” said Daniel A. Domenech, executive director, AASA. “These educators and many other like-minded individuals across the country are creating positive cultures in our school districts by expanding the personalized learning movement in their respective communities. Not all children learn at the same rate. Personalized learning will help them learn at their own pace.”

Superintendents profiled in the AASA Personalized Learning Case Study series include:

Jeff Dillon, superintendent, Wilder School District, Wilder, Idaho

Jeffrey Thake, superintendent, Amboy Community Unit School District #272, Amboy

Valerie Truesdale, associate superintendent, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Charlotte, N.C.
