Sublette Village Trustee MacKenzei Belan said the village received two bids for its three-year maintenance contact. The first was from current contractor Geuther Lawn Service in the amount of $60,000 for the first year with a five percent increase each year after for a three-year contract. The second was from Rick’s Lawn and Property Maintenance in the amount of $40,000 per year for three years. Belan made a motion to accept the bid from Rick’s Lawn and Property Maintenance. Dinges also told the board that there are plans in the works to hold a couple holiday events in Sublette. The first called Ghoul’s Night Out on Oct. 21, from 6 – 8 p.m. All are invited to come shop, drink, eat and visit the shops and restaurants of Sublette.
