Who are these masked ladies, smiling behind their masks? Members and prospective members of Rochelle Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution gathered for a masked and socially distanced gathering to reconnect with each other at the Lost Lake Community in rural Dixon.  It was a perfect evening for an outdoor catered summer dinner and was enjoyed by 14 members and three prospective members (not pictured: Chapter Chaplain, Mary Lou Kator). The program committee offered teasers about upcoming events for the 2020-2021 program year, highlighting plans for partnering with the Hope Domestic Violence Shelter to present "In Her Shoes," an experience based domestic violence community education event, as well as an opportunity to support the Flagg Township Museum's Aug. 16 event (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to commemorate the passage of the 19th Amendment: "They Took to the Streets-but Not Without Hats."
