AMBOY-When the pandemic shut-down hit in March of 2020, the Amboy Lions Club was forced to cancel the Cliff Walter Memorial Easter Egg Hunt. The Lions adapted by having the Easter Bunny ride on a fire truck through Amboy and Sublette. Now that restrictions have not completely been lifted and with Covid cases in Lee County rising, the Lions are once again adapting.

The Lions will host an Easter Bunny Drive-Thru at the Amboy City Park on Saturday, April 3, from  1 to 2 p.m.  Children will receive a treat bag, some with special surprises, as they drive through the park. The Easter Bunny will and cut-out scene boards will be available for picture opportunities. The boards will be properly sanitized between uses.

The Lions are looking forward to having a traditional egg hunt in 2022 but want children to be able to have some fun in 2021.

Everyone is asked to enter the east park entrance and follow the signs to avoid back-ups into Main Street.
