On Friday March 19, the Third grade classes at Central School took part in Sauk Valley Community College’s child fair. Nursing students came to present to the Third grade classes about body and mind. Students learned about Yoga and healthy eating. They learned about how Yoga helps their mind and body. Students were shown various yoga moves and then they played a yoga game that included a healthy snack and a water as a prize. Students were also shown a healthy eating presentation. They were shown the effects of what poor eating can have on their bodies. The nursing students played a nutrition bingo with the students after the demonstration.
