DIXON — The Blackhawk Firefighters’ Association is proud to announce the Annual Firefighter Memorial Service. The 2017 Memorial Service will beheld at 1 p.m., on Sunday Sept. 10, at Sauk Valley Community College, 173 Illinois Route 2, Dixon. The purpose of this service is to honor those who have served their communities so well.
The event will honor firefighters who have passed away since our last service in September of 2015, and were a member of the BFFA. In addition, the service will honor firefighters that passed away prior to this date, who have not been honored in prior years and who were members of BFFA at their time of passing.
