AMBOY – William L. “Bill” Reinhold, age 70, of Amboy, passed away on Friday Dec. 6, 2024 at KSB Hospital in Dixon following a short illness.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial has been established to Pankhurst Memorial Library in Amboy. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
Reinhold was born on April 3, 1954 in Amboy, the son of Cecil and Ruth (Ringenberg) Reinhold. He is a graduate of Amboy High School and earned his associate degree at Sauk Valley Community College. Bill worked for HWI/Do It Best for 40 years and enjoyed reading, lawn work, feeding the birds and going for walks.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by his sister Penny (Dennis) Nelson of Dixon, two nephews Aaron (Cristina) Nelson of Chandler AZ, Reuben (Amanda) Nelson of West Dundee IL, and one great-nephew Alex Nelson. He is also survived by his good friends Mike (Kim) Damhoff and Tom (Karol) Harrison.
