SHABBONA – The Amboy Clippers have been assigned to the Shabbona Indian Creek Class 1A Regional Volleyball Tournament to be played Oct. 28-31 in Shabbona.

Amboy received the 10th seed and will begin play at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 against fifth-seeded Polo. If the Clippers win that match they will move on to the semifinal-round to face the winner of the Milledgeville-Ashton Franklin Center contest at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30.

The two semifinal-round winners will square off for the regional championship at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.

The survivor of the Indian Creek Regional will advance to the Polo Sectional to meet the winner of the Galena Regional at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5. The other sectional participants will come from the Serena and Forreston regionals.
