Unfortunately, the Lady Clippers have not been able to pick up wins even with Vaessen’s hot bat.
Amboy lost to Milledgeville 8-6 on Tuesday, May 6 and again to Milledgeville 17-15 on Thursday, May 8. The Lady Clippers suffered a 16-6 defeat to Eastland in five innings on Saturday, May 10, and 9-5 to Newman on Monday, May 12.
Amboy is 4-18 on the season and 2-6 in the Northwest Upstate Illini Conference South Division.
