AMBOY — Over the past several years the Amboy Education Foundation has been entrusted by alumni and area families with endowments to establish scholarship opportunities for students of the Amboy School District.
This year will be our largest allocation to date. The class of 2022 will be eligible for scholarships ranging from $1,500 to $5,000 totaling $76,000.
An additional $2,000 has been allocated to provide eight scholarships of $250 each to assist students attending Whiteside Area Career Center (WACC) in the Nursing/Occupational Health programs or Sauk Valley Community College and enrolled in the Dual Credit Program.
Available Scholarships are:
Shirley M. Rolf – established 2016
William and Betty Kid – established 2018
Sylvan & Virginia Leffelman – established 2022
Parents, please encourage your graduating senior to contact their new High School Counselor, Ms. Alaina Martillaro to learn more about the scholarships and requirements.
