AMBOY – Roger VaNatta, 80, of Amboy, passed away on Wednesday Nov. 27, 2024 at his home.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 4, 2024 at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 4, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Amboy. A memorial has been established to Granny Rose Animal Shelter. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. VaNatta was born on Jan. 30, 1940 in Amboy, the son of Roy C. and Marie (Zimmerly) VanNatta. Roger owned and operated VanNatta’s Scrap Yard in Amboy. He also worked for Central Foundations and did maintenance for local businesses. He was an antique collector and enjoyed creating yard art.

Roger is preceded in death by his sister Barbara Rhine, and brother Roy “Babe” VanNatta.

VaNatta is survived by his two sisters Vicki Chavera, Sharon Pollard, two brothers Dale (Marilyn) VanNatta, Aaron (Ann) May, and several nieces and nephews.
