ROCKFORD – Babies in Mercyhealth’s Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Javon Bea Hospital Riverside in Rockford were ready for the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 9 when the Philadelphia Eagles blew out the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22.

This guy, the baby and Eagles’ QB Jalen Hurts were the MVPs. Dressing the babies up for special events and holidays helps five families a sense of normalcy and helps create special memories, said Niiki Tourtillott, NICU transport coordinator.

Babies in the NICU often stay for several weeks and sometimes months at a time.
