AMBOY – The Amboy community came together to pay honor to Amboy brethren who gave their lives to fight for the United States of America.
Judge Matthew Klahn was the keynote speaker and Pastor Fritz gave the opening prayer.
Hunter Rasmussen and Morgan Kreiser performed taps after the 21-gun salute performed by Amboy American Legion Post 453 and Gloria Parker read the Gettysburg Address and the Memorial Day Order of General John A. Logan.
The Amboy High School band, led by director Travis Kemmerer, played many musical selections including the songs of each branch of the U.S. military.
