AMBOY – Marguerite E. Daniels, 83, of Amboy, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 at her home.
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Lee Center United Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024 at the Lee Center United Church of Christ with Pastor Jack Briggs Officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center. Memorials have been established to the Lee Center United Church of Christ and Teen Turf in Amboy. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
Daniels was born May 5, 1941 in Amboy the daughter of Russell and Ada (Reubin) Lahman. Marguerite was a member of the Shaw EC Church and the Lee Center United Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing bingo every week with her twin sister.
She married Harold “Harry” Daniels on February 11, 1961. He preceded her in death October 12, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister Ruth Jones, three brothers Russell, John “JD” and Larry Lahman.
Marguerite is survived by her children, Brad Daniels of Champaign, David (Ginger) Daniels of Amboy, Curt (Bridget) Daniels of Amboy, grandchildren, Cody (Evie) Daniels, Caleb (Jamie) Daniels, Taylor (Julie) Daniels, Dillon (Angie) Daniels, and six great-grandchildren, Coraline, London, Emmy, Juniper, Sabrina, and Bethany. She is also survived by two sisters Donna Wellman of Amboy, twin sister Marjorie (Jim) Jackson of Harmon, three brothers Paul (Carolyn) Lahman of Amboy, James (Judy) Lahman of Franklin Grove, Robert (Trudy) Lahman of Amboy sisters-in-law Sarah Lahman, Nancy Lahman, and Eileen (John) McConnell.
