AMBOY – Linda E Nowacki, 64 of Amboy, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at her home.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.

She was born on Oct. 6, 1960 in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Elaine (Parkhurst) Wawrzyniak.

Nowacki was a school bus driver for the Amboy Community Unit School District No. 272.  She loved the outdoors, animals, and her flower gardens.  She was an amazing mother, grandmother and friend. 

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Karen Wawrzyniak.

She is survived by her children Steven (Kim) Nowacki of Peoria, Christine (Joseph) Gross of Amboy, Jennifer (Matt Holloway) Nowacki of Mendota, nine grandchildren Jersey, Autumn, Alexis, Kayla, Vanessa, Joey, Lillian, Dillian, Chloe, one great-grandson Elijah. She is also survived by her significant other, Robin Arnold.
