MAYTOWN – Leo Bushman, 84 of Maytown, passed away on Thursday, June 12 at Liberty Court in Dixon.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 17 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Maytown. Visitation will be from 9-10:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 17 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
Bushman was born on Jan. 7, 1941 in Amboy, the son of Leo and Lucille (Morrissey) Bushman.
Leo was an operating engineer for the Local 150 for 45 years, as well as a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Holy Name Society. He married Norma J. Leffelman on Sept. 8, 1962 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Maytown.
Norma preceded him in death on April 12, 2021. He is also preceded in death by his parents. Leo is survived by his children Lori (Bruce) Setchell of Amboy, Patrick (Elizabeth) Bushman of Dixon, five granddaughters Katherine (Andrew) Bulfer, Emily (Thomas) Swenson, Julia (Broc) Sorrells, Maggie (William) Cooper, Gretchen Bushman, five great-grandchildren Lee, Delaney, Clara, Arthur, and Ruby. He is also survived by his brother Lawrence Bushman, sister Mary (Roger) Kuffel, and his dog Milo.
