IDPH Reports 2,887 new cases in Illinois for a total of 73,760 in 98 Illinois counties.
With 130 additional deaths announced today, the state death toll is 3,241.
There were 9 more positive tests in Lee County today for a total of 67. 16 of the 67 positive cases in Lee County have recovered and been lifted off isolation.

LEE COUNTY — The number of Lee County COVID-19 cases has risen to 67 following 9 additional positive tests received at the Jack Mabley Center in Dixon. Lee County Health Department and KSB Hospital are monitoring the situation and providing support. KSB Hospital is fully prepared if an expected percentage of the patients need hospitalization. This is an example of how quickly this virus can spread.
The state of Illinois announced that it had processed in excess of 20,000 tests today, as it continues its quest to increase testing capacity.
Current Testing Criteria:
The following people can be tested with or without symptoms.
Anyone with COVID-19-like symptoms (cough, shortness of breath and fever) OR
who has a risk factor, such as contact with someone confirmed to have COVID-19, a compromised immune system or a serious chronic medical condition can get a test, even without a doctor’s order.
