Lady Clippers take care of LaMoille-Ohio

AMBOY – Amboy took control from the opening tip and cruised to a 65-39 victory over LaMoille-Ohio in varsity girls’ basketball action on Dec. 18 at the AHS gym.

Noelle Jones netted seven points in the first quarter to help the Lady Clippers establish a 13-8 lead after the opening stanza. Logan Winters and Rachel Lachat both had six-point second frames as Amboy carried a 31-18 lead to intermission.

Jones finished with a team-high 14 points, while she also handled eight rebounds. Winters pumped in 10 points and paced the squad with 10 caroms, while Lachat also had 10 tallies. Kelsey Stewart supplied eight points and three assists, Abi Payne handed out three assists and Taylor Stevens had seven points and five rebounds.

Lexi Loftus pumped in 24 points to lead LaMoille-Ohio.
