LaMOILLE – Kenneth A. Miller, 88, of LaMoille, formerly of Mendota, passed away November 19, 2024, with his loving family by his side.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be Monday, Nov. 25 from 10-11 a.m. in Wasmer Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service officiated by Pastor Doug Kirkpatrick. Burial of ashes will immediately follow at Restland Memorial Gardens. Mendota V.FW. Post #4079 will conduct Full Military Honors. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Miller was born December 18, 1935, in Mendota to John W. And Stella May (Baker) Miller. He attended and graduated Amboy High School. Ken served in the United States Army. On February 8, 1959, he married Judith Boyer in Amboy.

Miller spent 27 years working for Trekker Chemical, until his retirement. He was a member of the Mendota Moose Lodge #714 and Mendota Elks Lodge#1212. Ken was a Chicago Cubs fan and loved everything Pink Panther. He had a wonderful sense of humor, continuing to joke until the end. 

He will be forever missed by his sons: David (Lori) Miller of Highland, Arkansas, Michael Miller of Dixon, Andrew (Penny) Miller of LaMoille, 10 grandchildren: Marc, Jeremy, Brian, Brandon, Mitchell, Rachael, Sasha, Martin, Kaden, Cora, several great-grandchildren, brother Allen Miller of Peru, and sister Marilyn Lynch of Springfield.

Miller was preceded in death by his parents and wife Judi on March 27, 2007.
