LEE CENTER — Glenda L. Smith, 66, of Lee Center, passed away on Monday, Dec. 18, 2023, at her home.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1957 in Oregon, the daughter of Jerry and Viola (Griswold) Smith. Glenda worked for Fantasy Flavors later named Sensient Flavors in Amboy for over 25 years. She was a member of the HOG and ABATE motorcycle groups and enjoyed playing in dart leagues.

Glenda is preceded in death by her father Jerry.

She is survived by her four children, Gary Dale (Amy) Atkinson, of Rockford, Nicole (Dallas) Dunbar, of Oregon, Timothy Ryan Buckley, of Amboy, Steven Edward (Andrea) Buckley, of Amboy; nine grandchildren; her mother, Viola Garver, of Harmon; two brothers, Don (Cathy) Smith, of Amboy, David (Janet) Smith, of Oregon; two sisters, Irene (K.Z.) Clair, of Harmon, and Jamie (Roy) Rogers, of Ohio; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Cremation rites have been accorded with a celebration of life and memory ride to be planned at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made in Glenda's name to the donor’s favorite animal shelter.
