MANLIUS – The Amboy Lady Clippers will compete in the Manlius (Bureau Valley) Class 1A Girls’ Sectional Track Meet to be held on Wednesday, May 8 in Manlius. Field events start at 4 p.m. and running events will kick off at 6:30 p.m.
Joining the Lady Clippers in the sectional will be Ashton-Franklin Center, DePue, Earlville, Erie, Fulton, Granville Putnam County, Henry-Senachwine), Manlius Bureau Valley, Milledgeville, Morrison, Ottawa Marquette, Peru St. Bede, Port Byron Riverdale, Rock Island Alleman, Shabbona Indian Creek, Spring Valley Hall and Sterling Newman Central Catholic.
First- and second-place winners and those who meet or exceed the qualifying standard in each event, including relay teams, will advance to the State final meet.
The IHSA State Meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 16 through Saturday, May 18 at O’Brien Stadium on the campus of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
