According to research, issues surrounding health and entrepreneurship impact over 44 million employed adults in the United States. The forum aimed to bring together fresh ideas and diverse perspectives on health and new venture creation to help students develop their own research and projects.
Dinges sat on a panel and shared his mental and physical health journey. Additionally, he shared how his own health has influenced his business and has changed over time. Additional topics covered at the forum included Unpacking Entrepreneurial Loneliness, How Subjective Social Status Shapes Entrepreneurial Cognition and Well-Being, Entrepreneurship Addiction, Trauma and Entrepreneurship, among other topics.
“I was honored to have been asked to sit on a panel and share my entrepreneurial health story with several college-aged students,” said Dinges Fire Company CEO Nick Dinges. “Starting a business is exhausting. It consumes you and overwhelms you but is equally fulfilling and rewarding. By presenting on this panel, I truly hope I educated and, most importantly, inspired the students.”
