AMBOY – The Amboy baseball team had plenty to proud of in the 2025 season.

The Clippers held an above .500 record for most of the season and fell just one game shy at the end at 12-13.

Throughout the season many players played top-tier baseball.

The Northwest Upstate Illini Conference South Division paid attention and name four Clipper seniors to the all-conference team.

Quinn Leffelman and Carson Barlow were named to the first team and Brody Christofferson and Eddie Jones were named to the second team.

Leffelman recorded a .500 batting average, eight RBI and zero strikeouts. Barlow pitched 25 innings with a 2-2 record, a 1.68 ERA and a 24-11 strikeout to walk ratio. At the plate, Barlow had a .258 average.

Christoffersen pitched 24 innings with a 2.63 ERA, a 2-3 record, and a 34-16 strikeout to walk ratio. At the plate he averaged .242. Jones had a batting average of .276 and tallied six runs scored, three RBI and one home run.
