BYRON – Charles A. Reiners, 60, of Dixon, passed away at Generations at Neighbors nursing home in Byron on Friday Oct. 25, 2024.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday Oct. 30 at the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon with Pastors Gary Wilson and Jacob Appenzeller officiating. Burial will follow the service at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. A luncheon will follow the burial at Foursquare Church in Dixon. Memorial donations can be made to DaVita Dialysis. Arrangements by the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
Reiners was born on April 18, 1964 in Dixon, the son of Donald and Evelyn (Lupton) Reiners. Charles worked for Edelmann in Dixon for 35 years and then Allied Locke Industries for a 1 ½ years.
He was a past member of the Dixon Elks and a Boy Scouts of America leader for over 18 years. Charles married Jennifer Bonnell on June 1, 1991 in Dixon.
Reiners is preceded in death by his parents, sister Scheryl, brothers Donald, Richard, and Jim Reiners.
Charles is survived by his wife Jennifer, children Kimberly (Phillip) Marquette of Chana, Christopher (Barbara) Reiners of Dixon, grandchildren Payton Marquette, Olivia, and Malachi Reiners, and four nieces.
