AMBOY – Carolyn J. Robison, 72, of Amboy, died Saturday Nov. 16, 2024 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Visitation will be on Wednesday Nov. 20, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at St Patrick Catholic Church in Amboy. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. John Gow officiating.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon. A memorial has been established to the Parkinson’s Foundation. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Online condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
Robison was born July 11, 1952 in Chicago, the daughter of James and Josephine (Blinstrub) Bass. Carolyn had worked at Fantasy/Sensient Flavors in Amboy for over 13 years prior to retirement.
She married Glen Robison on November 17, 2006 in DeKalb.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Nancy Westover and one brother Richard Bass.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Glen, two children Missy Hobbs of Amboy and Jason (Mandi) Gascoigne of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Stephen, Autumn, Chloe, Alex and Carter, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister Kathy (Scott Hogan) Wilhelm of Florida and one brother Jim (Fran) Bass of Quincy.
