WEST BROOKLYN — Carol Widolff, 89, of West Brooklyn, passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at her home.

She was born on May 3, 1934 in Mendota, the daughter of Raymond and Eva (Fahler) Mann. Carol was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in West Brooklyn, and Altar and Rosary Society. She married Joseph Widolff on Nov. 26, 1955 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mendota.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 14, 2019; six brothers, George, Oren, Cecil, Carleton, Wayne, Glenn Mann; and three sisters, Catherine Mann, Ina Garland, Lela Rich.

She is survived by her children, Diane (James) Devine, of Dixon, Michael (Janet) Widolff, of West Brooklyn, Lois (Brian) Donovan, of Winter Haven, Fla., Randy (Shelley Mink) Widolff, of West Brooklyn, Steven (Paula) Widolff, of Amboy; 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, William Widolff, of Sterling.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dixon. Lunch will follow at the Holloway Center.  Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in West Brooklyn at 3 p.m. Visitations will be on Monday, June 26, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m., with scripture service at 6:30 p.m. at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Visitation will also be from 10 to 10:45 a.m.,  at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dixon on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

A memorial has been established to Serenity Hospice and Home.
