AMBOY – With a week break thanks to the holidays, the Amboy boys basketball team was back on the hardwood Saturday, Jan. 4 against Warren and Monday, Jan. 6 versus Newman.
Unfortunately both games didn’t go the Clippers way as they fell to Warren 57-48 and to Newman 57-37.
In the Newman game junior Ezra Parker led the Amboy scoring with 15, while senior Eddie Jones had nine, freshman Bryson Deery had seven, and junior Rylan McNinch added five.
Newman had three players with double-digit scoring.
Amboy is now 6-7.
