The Amboy Lions Club held a special dinner meeting to honor the 2024 recipients of scholarships from the club on Monday, July 22. The now-graduated high school students were joined by their families to celebrate the occasion. The  scholarship receivers are Madison O’Malley, third from left, Elizabeth Clarida, fifth from left, Landon Whelchel, second from right. Emma Dinges also accepted the award from the Lions Club, but she was on a State FFA trip. Amboy Lion Jim Travi, right, greeted the guests.
