End of the third quarter is upon us, and we are entering the final stretch.

At the end of the year, we try to do a Community Service Day. A day that we take students to numerous places in the Amboy area to help out with different activities.

If there is any organization in town that could use the assistance of 15-20 high school students, for an hour or two, please contact the Amboy High School office to get on our list. We hope to have students able to work from about 9:30-11 a.m. on projects around the community to help those who support us. 

This week in sports history class, students studied the rivalries between the Bulls and Pistons in the 1980’s and 1990’s when the tide turned and the players were physical with each other.

The Detroit Pistons were nicknamed the “Bad Boys” because of their physical style of play and aggressive defense. The team embraced the nickname and made it part of their identity.
