High Five Friday with the varsity football team and cheerleaders was successful.
On Friday, Nov. 1 the Amboy varsity football team and cheerleaders met at Amboy Central School to welcome the Central school students to school, give high-fives, and play on the playground with them.
While it was pretty cold, Central students had a great time.
Great job to the cast and crew of the fall play, “The Play That Goes Wrong”. All three shows went extremely well and we are proud of you.
The Veterans Day Ceremony will be on at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11 in the Amboy High School gymnasium. The public is welcome to attend. Please bring a valid driver’s license with you to sign in.
On Tuesday, Nov. 12, there will be a technical school/certificate program night for parents of all high school students interested in the trades. Discussions will be held on what programs Sauck Valley Community College has available to students, and what steps would be taken if SVCC does not have a program of choice.
There will also be discussions about financial aid and help with how to get started on FAFSA.
The second round of football playoffs will be a home game at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Martinsville.
