Stateline Quizbowl is a high school tournament hosted by a Rockford television station.

It is a single elimination tournament and there are 28 teams that are competing in the tournament this year. Each match consists of four separate rounds and after each round substitution can be made. Each team plays four payers at a time.

Team members who competed in the tournament for Amboy High School were: Jason Hemmen, Chase Huggins, Jay Lauzon, Anthony Linder, Tyler Mahar, Gage Mumm, and Henry Nichols. Other team members are Aaron Costner and Vee Shepard.

While the outcome of their participation is still embargoed, you can watch their performance at 9:30 p.m. Sunday on WQRF (FOX) and at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, December 8 on WTVO (ABC).
