Congratulations to our FFA members who competed at Dairy Foods and Agronomy at Rochelle High School on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The Dairy Foods team placed fifth in the section and was made up of Brysen Full, Gavin Nichols, Kaitlyn Dempsey, and Jarrett Althaus. The Agronomy team placed first in the section with the following members placing in the top 10: Abel Valdez (second), Westin Wittenauer (third), Tyler Mahar (fourth), Landon Carter (fifth), Henry Klein (sixth), Anna Carlson (ninth), Aden Spinelli (10th). The following individuals who also participated in agronomy were Tyler Huggins, Kenley Wilson, Grace Royer, Alainie Wittenauer, Maddie Althaus,  Lili Leffelman, Grady McLaughlin,  Chuck Wilson, Kolton Greus, Brian Clements, and Jason Dickinson.

Congratulations to the pep band as they were able to play at the IHSA state volleyball games Saturday, Nov. 16. The students did a great job and had a great time. Also, congratulations to Gloria Parker on making the ILMEA District Band which also performed Saturday in Dekalb.

Students spend all day working together to learn the music and then perform a concert that evening.
