Amboy High School has been participating in the Pathways Program through the state of Illinois for the last few years.

It gives students an opportunity in certain pathways to spend time during their school day in an internship setting. Amboy High School has been approved for a Nursing and Education endorsement and is working on getting approved for manufacturing and agribusiness endorsements as well.

This year, we have four students working on their education endorsement who are able to spend time at the junior high and elementary school working with students and even helping to teach lessons.

This experience allows them to work with different grade levels of students and also allows them to see different areas of instruction and work with different types of teachers.
