AMBOY – Veterans Day is an important day in Amboy every year.
Amboy High School held a program led by Grace Royer, the American Legion presented the colors, Amboy Central School and Amboy Junior High School spoke on what the holiday means to them, the AHS band, and Hunter Rasmussen and Morgan Krieser played taps.
The students then made cards, above, and care packages for the veterans, while the American Legion went to Veterans Park to present the rifle volley tribute.
