Don’t forget to put the fall play on your calendar, The Play That Goes Wrong, 7 p.m. on both Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3.
The cast and crew are looking forward to a great show. Ticket are on sale in the Amboy High School office during the school day or can be purchased at the show. They are $5 each.
During homeroom the last few weeks, students have learned about dealing with stress and time management. This week they talked about distractions, specifically with social media and the amount of time that is wasted watching and scrolling through social media. Whiteside Area Career Center was also at the high school talking to the sophomore class about what opportunities they have available for their junior and senior years.
The fifth-grade science teacher is looking for a food scientist to come and speak with her students before Thanksgiving break. If you are able to help, please contact sland@amboy.net or call the junior high office.
Math review days can be fun when students get to use the whiteboards. Students were given problems to solve and helped each other with their work. Hopefully, they will do well on their tests.
